Sarah Oldridge, Adult Education Co-ordinator at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew for over 20 years, talked to us about the history and the secrets of Kew Gardens. It’s on our doorstep … we’ve all probably been there at least once if not more … but listening to Sarah we realised that there was a lot more to the place and people that lived there than we ever knew, including the fact that Kew has the biggest compost heap in Europe!
